Ali Maddahi, MS, DMD
General Dentist
Dr. Maddahi has over 35 years of clinical experience coupled with more than 25 years of teaching and research experience in dentistry. Since founding Orris Dental in 2010, he concurrently serves as an Attending Dentist at the Cambridge Health Alliance Dental Clinic’s General Dentistry Residency program. Dr. Maddahi also holds a lecturer position at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Department of Oral Health Policy and Epidemiology.
A firm believer in staying current with evolving practices, Dr. Maddahi actively pursues continuing education and completes multiple courses annually. Dr. Maddahi has also completed a mini-residency program in Dental Sleep Medicine at Tufts University’s School of Dental Medicine to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea with oral devices.

Caleb Tam, MS, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Caleb Tam was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. He earned his BS in biology (2009) from the University of California, Davis, and his MS in biomedical engineering (2013) and DDS (2018) from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). During his time at UCSF, he received 4 Clinical and Research Excellence Day awards and has been presented with scholarships from the American Dental Association (ADA) Foundation, International/American Association for Dental Research (IADR/AADR), Colgate, Pierre Fauchard Academy, Academy of Osseointegration, and Academy of Dental Materials.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Tam completed a General Practice Residency through Harvard School of Dental Medicine/Cambridge Health Alliance (2019), where he has since remained on board and currently serves as Chief of Dental Services. Dr. Tam also has a passion for outreach and education as he enjoys volunteering in his local community as well as serving as a mentor for future generations of dental professionals.

Giovanna Miranda, BS, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Giovanna has been with Orris Dental since 2015 and brings over nine years of experience in the dental field. She earned her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Quinsigamond Community College in 2022, graduating with high honors and receiving several awards, including the Massachusetts Dental Hygienists’ Association (MDHA) Scholarship, the Dental Hygiene Department Award, and the Distinguished Service Award for College Clubs and Organizations. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Framingham State University.
Giovanna is fluent in both English and Portuguese and is known for her warm, patient-centered approach to care. In addition to her clinical work, she was recently appointed to the Framingham 2030 Advisory Council, where she contributes to shaping the future of the local community.
